We can keep game discussion to the other thread, but I wanted to get a tally of peeps who are planning to pick this game up on March 2nd. I've having a TON of fun with just one level in the beta and I seriously can't wait. It's safe to say that again.... while NOT BF3 (which has been confirmed as in-development), this is still a good sign that the fun of Battlefield has not gone anywhere.
So, do the good members of FFC stilll have it in them to come together again for the new BF??
I want to play both BC2 and BF3 but will likely need new hardware to support either.
It is an economic thing.
If I can afford it, I will definitely be playing.

Yeah, its had 1 upgrade since, for Left 4 Dead.
I am waiting on a RAM RMA from Corsair I sent in like 3 weeks ago.
Until then I am on 1 Gig.

Already have it preordered, and been playing the beta For reference, it runs great on my rig:
Q6600 @3.0ghz , 4gb ram (3g usable, 32bit vista), gtx 260 196core
running at 1920x1080, high everything 2xaa 4xaniso. is high 40's FPS, dipping into 30's for lots of explosions, which is fine with me. _________________ Graaaagh!

Never had one of those.
I hated those guys from day one.
I knew one of them in RL.
A friend of a friend deal.
They were all coke heads and tweakers.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find that the guy I knew was their dealer or something.
Not my kind of people.
The only reason I went to that server was to be top dog.
I know some of them knew who I was and it pissed them off to see my name up at the top of their server.
It was sorta like tea bagging them with my stats.
I enjoy the FFC peeps, always have.
The people who came over here were of an entirely different caliber, both gaming and personal, even you (with your WFL comment), Alex.
This was a cool place until the games ran out.
Its like the silver mine closing or something.
You can only do so much socializing when the purpose here is games and there aren't any games.
The FFC was a grand place!

I hope you make a good go of it.
I know you have been doing the MWL thing for a while now, so it won't be an alien concept to you.
Maybe there can be some competitive clan action once again, making some new good times.
I liked the FFC thing because it was very generic, the MWL thing is more regional, but who cares what its called as long as there are challenging, honorable, social gamers there.
The FFC was the shiz because the best players gravitated here for a while and our servers were well admined.
As long as you get and keep the same type of peeps, you could earn the same success over the next gaming cycle.
