It's been a good run, but, at least in my eyes, the era of Frontline Formation is slowly coming to an end. There are only a handful of us left here, and fewer left who actively game (at least that I can see). I think we've sat idle for too long, and it's time for something new to come forward and rise up to be a very successful gaming community from now into the near future. It's been something I've been thinking about for a good while, but there hasn't been that one "big" release of a game that will excite everyone and charge gaming communities and new gamers across the board.

Hopefully the pending release of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 can do that.

As some of you may or may not be aware I have been gradually working on creating a new community using a new site template and using lessons I've learned as an admin/mod here and as part of the revival of the MidWestLAN group.

It's not quite ready for release to the public yet, but I anticipate the website going "officially" live next week Sunday/Monday.

This new community will only, very loosely, be affiliated with MidWestLAN (mainly doing cross promotion) just as it will be somewhat affiliated with FFC.

FFC Stuff/Other Pertinent Info

-All FFC members will automatically be "members" of the new community, in addition to all former active admins on the BF2 server will get admin rights on the new server.
-The servers that will be hosted will start off being Bad Company 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and a TeamSpeak 3 server.
-It will still run by donations, and similar to FFC membership donations will be required before you can become a full fledged member.
-Members will get the usual perks of a spot on the server from an admin whenever they want one, and probably access to downloads and stuff as well and possibly, if the community grows well, entry into members only contestants for random stuff.
-There still will be a political talk section, and I am wavering between it being "subscribers only" (aka only people who want/are willing to engage in the debate can post there) or making it open to whoever. Regardless, rules will be in place to make sure there is absolutely zero spillover into the rest of the forums, and it will be emphasized that it will be very sparsely moderated (basically only to remove bigoted statements and such) and if you are easily offended to steer way the f*ck away from it.

More will be seen as it develops, as I said, shooting for a release right before Bad Company comes out.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Relentless Gamers

The forums are functional. Booster and I are working on the graphics and design still.

The TeamSpeak3 server will be up tomorrow afternoon. The Bad Company 2 server should be up and running sometime on release day.

Register, and I'll grant access to the members section to anyone who is an FFC member. I'm still fleshing some of the sections out and getting sticky-d rules posts up.

Marty aka EthanHunt. He uses the MidWestLAN PayPal account to do some computer stuff, and that's the account we're using for Relentless donations.

If any of you want to pitch in with potential logo ideas, feel free.

Our tag for Relentless members is R3LENT<

Community members can perhaps wear LESS| as a tag?
